Lydia Nibley has collaborated on projects airing on National Geographic, the CBC and BBC.

Her documentary TWO SPIRITS aired around the world and received the PBS Audience Award. It also generated more online engagement than any film they had previously aired—by a factor of 5. Lydia was honored for the contribution the film has made to fundamental human rights at the Obama White House. And the film has received numerous film festival awards and continues to garner critical acclaim.

Lydia became friends with FEARLESS JOURNEY subject Chris as he stocked shelves at her neighborhood grocery store in Los Angeles. When he disappeared for a few weeks she was concerned. But Chris had simply gone off to explore Ethiopia with a few hundred dollars. He came back with great stories about who he had met and what he had learned hitching rides and bouncing around the back of a truck with people who were now his friends. Lydia’s friendship with Chris for over a decade gives her unique access to direct this special film.
